Music Industry Sundowner Series

Since 2010 - WAM, APRA and the MEAA have come together to present the Music Industry Sundowner Series (MISS).

In addition to WAM Workshops, the series aims to provide professional WA musicians access to information and provide skills to help forge a sustainable career in music. Each session focuses on a different topic, presented by inspiring personalities with real-world expertise.

The Music Industry Sundowners will generally occur on the last Monday of every second month at the Rosemount Hotel in North Perth.

WAM offers promotional opportunities through Monthly Member Exclusives &/or Monthly Member Competition giveaways, advertised online & through our music industry distributed WAM eNews publication. Spaces are limited each month, making it the perfect way to generate focus on your business, product or special event.

A more lasting promotion is also available as an Ongoing Benefit listing in WAM's online Member Benefits Directory - simply requiring a genuine, no catch, ongoing Member Benefit to all valid card holding WAM members, for a minimum period of 12 months. Banner space is also available for ongoing promotions, focusing on products & services of benefit to the West Australian music industry.

Banner Specifications:
- SIZE: W700px x H100px @ 72PPI (W246.94mm x H35.28mm). Banner templates available for download HERE.
- FORMAT: JPEG, and animated/still GIF or Flash*. Animations should be no more than 8 sec animation - max filesize 100Kb.
  * Flash banners should include the "clickTAG" variable set to the URL the banner is directing clients to, but otherwise be non-scripted (see www.adobe.com/resources/richmedia/tracking/designers_guide/ for more information). It should be noted that a number of mobile iOS devices, including iPhone, iPod touch, iPad & Apple TV, do not natively support Flash.
