GSIT - DENMARK CAMPUS OFFERS NIGHT-TIME MUSIC CLASSES
28/06/2012 4:31:00 PM by Justine Thornley
The Great Southern Institute of Technology Denmark Campus is running a new hands-on night music course, suitable for:
  • bedroom pluckers wishing to pluck with others
  • high school students looking for a different kind of homework
  • classical musicians wondering what this ‘playing without looking at charts’ is all about
  • those already in bands that are looking to develop their group performance skills on a different instrument.

This course will be run by Tony King. Luckily for you, after many years of playing bass and guitar in bands (including Odd Sock, the Albany Blues Club House Band, Cyclone Tracee, the Lez Karski Trio, and the Moondog J Blues Band), Tony has made almost all the mistakes it is possible to make playing with other people… which means he can help you avoid the making the same mistakes, as well as help you develop your playing and group performance skills in double time!

It happens on Monday nights from July 23rd until the end of the year. Sessions run from 6pm until 9pm, with an optional hour at the start for people wishing to warm up with some extra tips.

For more information, please contact Tony King on 9892 3222 or at tony.king@gsinstitute.wa.edu.au

Please contact Sue Dybing on 9892 3222 for enrolment info or to sign up.
