Locally run and nationally promoted, WAM's annual events offer great opportunities to promote products, services and events to the Western Australia's music industry - and our national & international visitors - with an
arts, entertainment and contemporary music industry focus.
Since 1989,
WAM Song of the Year has been held as an annual, all-ages, multi-genre songwriting competition for original West Australian writers and composers. Promotional opportunities for this event include outbound print & media collateral, workshop placements in the leadup to submission closure, plus verbal, on-screen and award logo placement at a capacity crowd award ceremony.
Since 1992, the
WAMi Festival has celebrated and acknowledged West Australian original music. The festival offers a week of live music showcasing, an awards night, "Kiss My WAMi" recorded music/video product distribution, Kiss My Camera music photography competition/exhibition, and Music Business Conference.
