WELCOME WEST TV - CHANNEL 44

Perth Community Digital TV Station, West TV, will commence test transmission on digital UHF channel 44 from Thursday 1 April, with programs anticipated to go to air from Saturday 10 April.

West Television (WTV) is a new Western Australian free-to-air TV channel that is a community focused broadcaster aiming to reflect Australia's multicultural diversity and provide an alternative local view platform.

To receive this new television station, the first free-to-air digital community TV station in Australia, you will need to rescan your TV's digital receiver.

In light of the government’s current investigation into scalping, online ticket vendor Moshtix today launched its own survey to gather feedback from concert goers and promoters on the issue. The five-minute survey will remain open until July 9, with Moshtix giving respondents the chance to win $250 worth of Moshtix tickets for their feedback.
