JONNY TAYLOR - NOMINATED FOR WA COUNTRY MUSIC AWARD

WA musician, Jonny Taylor returns home this week following an extremely successful two month cross country tour to promote the release of his latest Single “Sad Girl”.

After performing in excess of 20 shows across the country, through the tour he was also nominated in four finalist positions in the Capital Country Music Association National Talent Quest including Best Male Vocal, Best Duo and two nominations for songwriting co-written with Codee-Lee Down. The two songwriting nominations took out first and second place in the their category. They then went on to take out the grand prize by being announced as the overall winners of the 2012 Capital Country Music Association National Talent Quest which has earned them an invitation to perform at the exclusive Trans Tasman Talent Quest in Norfolk Island.

Taylor, who won 'Best Male Artist' at the 2011 WA Country Music Awards, is performing at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival, where he is again nominated for 'Best Male Artist' in the WA Country Music Awards.
