The Hydey, a look at the much loved Hyde Park hotel; see a snippet from upcoming feature film
No Encore by Kenta McGrath which follows The Decibels on their recent WA tour; and see how live music meets visual art in
Karaoke Satan. We also offer a sampling of the often forgotten art of the music video clip, by featuring outstanding video clips from the last 12 months - including Abbe May, Tomas Ford and Rabbit Island.

*Filmmakers will introduce film at PiazzaThe Hydey takes a look at the notorious Hyde Park Hotel through the eyes of the bands that played there and the punters who drank there. Although it closed over a year ago, The Hydey was a key part of the Perth independent music scene, a haven for countless bands and performers. The film traces the rise and fall of the venue, and looks at the implications of its loss.
