The eve of the WAMi Festival introduces a brand new series of talks aimed at providing professional WA musicians with the information and skills to help forge a lasting career in music. : A Photographic Showcase of WA’s Musical Moments
The Western Australian Museum – Perth (Perth Cultural Centre), 20 May – 12 July.

Check out 48 music photographs by WA photographers. Over 60 000 people visited Kiss My Camera in 2009. Open daily from 9.30-5pm (except Wednesdays).

Presented by WAM and The Western Australian Museum, with support from X-Press and Sony Music.

In keeping with the philosphy of the WAMi’s and showcasing great WA bands, the Swan Hotel and Drum Media are presenting the Best Of Gignition - Second Series this Sunday 23 May featuring Jack Action, The Silent Republic, Gombo, Bulls And Bears and Stunning In Red.

We are also inviting you down before the show kicks off to take part in a panel discussion of local experts who will address everything you wanted to know about marketing and promoting yourself across online and print forums, how best to approach booking agents and venues, how to get support slots, how to service your music to radio and best way to approach labels.

Speaking on the panel will be :
