WAM's Information Services

The West Australian Music Industry Association (WAM) works to assist and inform the WA music industry as a whole.

Rather than acting in an administrative, managerial or promotional role for individuals or organisations, WAM is a hub of information to assist you to find the relevant resources, or make connections through our industry database, workshops and other relevant opportunities available to WA's music industry.

The West Australian Music Industry Association Inc. (WAM) exists to develop the contemporary music industry in Western Australia. WAM is a non-profit membership based association and the peak representative body for contemporary music in WA.

About Justine

Justine joined WAM as Communications Officer in April 2008 after attending the WAMi Music Business conference.

Having worked in recording, performing, instrument building and repair, Justine was a music teacher for over 10 years, and has been an APRA writer member since 1992. She also brings an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Music), and Bachelor of Communications and Multimedia to her role.

With a diverse range of musical tastes and interests, Justine likes to stay informed and share her knowledge and passion for the ever changing music industry.

Responsible for WAM eNews and much of the website content, Justine also introduced the WA Music Industry Calendar, Funding Resource Page, WA Open Mic Guide, Learn Music, Employment and the WAM LaunchPad new release promotion/logging initiative, all in direct response to local music industry needs.
