Can I enter lyrics only?
NO, we need to hear the melody of your song - this is not a
poetry/prose competition.

Judging of instrumental songs takes into account that there are no
lyrics to ensure that instrumental songs are given an equal weighting to
songs with lyrics.

hear some musical notes to make it a song!
Can I use another song for
accompaniment?
NO, your song's lyrics, melody & accompaniment must all be

The quality of the recording, presentation, or personnel used to make
the recording are not criteria considered in this songwriting
competition.
Who judges the songs?

according to their category. The panels consist of active members of the
local and national music industry. The list of judges will be available
after the judging has taken place.

overall composition. Please remember to include an English translation
if sung in another language.
