WAM @ CMJ
WAM presented showcases of WA artists in 2007 and 2008. This was not an effective strategy in hindsight, and for the past two years we have continued to refine this activity. In 2010 WAM implemented a partnership with Sounds Australia for the first time which saw WA act Voltaire Twins showcase. They're CMJ appearance has realised some fantastic outcomes, including charting in the college radio Top 200.

WAM is represented at CMJ Music Marathon by it's CEO Paul Bodlovich, presenting a showcase of West Australian acts invited to perform. Opportunities to perform at this event are advertised annually through sonicbids.

While we can offer information about, and some support during, this event - please note that WAM are in no way involved in the selection process.

Our national body, the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN), is a financial supporter of the Sounds Australia's presence at CMJ Music Marathon.
